Ndokwa Will Take Its Pride Of Place Politically With Ndokwa Core Group – Onyeme

TO ensure that Ndokwa nation gets its deserved dues in the politics of the country, a socio-political pressure group, Ndokwa Core Group has emerged.

At the inaugural meeting of the group held on Monday at Ibabu, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State,  Chief Monday Onyeme,  Chairman,  Delta State Internal Revenue Service who is the facilitator of the group, said, the group would not relent in attracting developments to Ndokwa nation.

At the meeting which was well attended by political bigwigs in the area including the member representing the local government in Delta State House of Assembly,  Hon.  Charles Emetulu,  Onyeme said, “Ndokwa Core Group is a socio-politucal pressure group to attract development to Ndokwa nation.

“Today is the inaugural meeting of the group and those who are here today were carefully selected; it is not by accident that you are here and those who are not comfortable in belonging to the Core Group are free to leave as we are democrats and we cannot force anyone to be member.

“It is open to all Ndokwa sons and daughters who are committed to the development of Ndokwa nation selflessly.

“It is a rainbow organisation for the projection of Ndokwa nation politically as a formidable political pressure group saddled with the responsibility of negotiating with other ethnic nationalities for Ndokwa nation’s fair share in the scheme of things as such will be the basis for our support to candidates vying for political positions; we are not going to engage in blind support anymore.

“The Ndokwa Core Group is a rallying point for addressing common political concerns of Ndokwa people as well as undertake the task of reconciling disagreements among our high ranking political leaders; it will be our duty to ensure political unity among Ndokwa people.

“To lead in the promotion of peace and security in Ndokwa land through robust political alignment and social synergy; ensure equity and fairness in the distribution of wealth,  appointments and developments across all ethnic nationalities in Delta State and Nigeria.

“To support our members with strings leadership pedigree into influential political offices whether elected or appointed and these members must be selfless and empathic to the just causes of the masses.

“We should work as a team to make progress as Ndokwa people politically.”

Some of those who spoke at the meeting including Major Babs Agali (rtd), Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi,  Hon. Richard Egodibie, Chief Kenneth Nwaomucha, Chief Otutu Ashibudike, Comrade Joe Animatin,  among said Ndokwa Core Group will take its pride of place among ethnic nationalities politically.

Major Babs Agali (rtd) said, “Ndokwa has a lot of resources that is making governments of Nigeria to record successes and it is ripe for the people to have a common front for developments to be attracted to the area.

“We should be committed to the course of Ndokwa nation because at the end of the day, we shall collectively reap the benefits.”

Also, Hon. Ezechi stated, “Chief Monday Onyeme and others have come to redeem Ndokwa nation politically; this is a group for like minds and we shall record successes.
