Nwaomucha Challenges Delta Teams For NDDC U-17 Football Championship To Emerge Victorious
TWO teams in Delta have qualified for the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) U-17 football competition.
Chairman of Delta State Football Association (DFA), Hon. Ken Nwaomucha who visited the teams, Delta Force and Delta United FCs respectively in their training ground in Warri, challenged them to come back to the state with the trophy.
He said, “we are happy that on Thursday, you are leaving for Uyo, Akwa Ibom State for the NDDC U-17 football championship; note that you are going there to win.
“Our state, Delta is the number one state in sports, so, we are expected to present the trophy that you will be coming back with to our victorious Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
“We are happy that you are all fit and eager to go and win, because we are known for emerging victorious in all sporting competitions.
“I congratulate you in advance.”
