After nearly two decades, the monumental 20.95 km Trans-Warri–Ode-Itsekiri Road, complete with its 15 complementary bridges, has been officially completed, drawing widespread applause for the Delta State government.

Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza, the Commissioner for Special Duties, Government House, led the commendation, attributing the historic achievement directly to the focused leadership of the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

”We extend our profound commendation to the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to delivering impactful infrastructure across our dear State,” Dr. Osuoza stated.

He stressed that Governor Oborevwori’s commitment ensured the project, which had languished for years, was finally delivered.

”Under Governor Oborevwori’s focused, people-centred governance, a long-awaited dream has finally become reality,” the Commissioner remarked.

Dr. Osuoza hailed the completion as a “landmark victory for the Itsekiri nation” and a clear indicator of the Governor’s guiding principles.

He said the project is a “shining testament to the Governor’s dedication to equity, inclusiveness, and responsible stewardship of public trust.

”Indeed, a promise made is now a promise fulfilled,” he affirmed.

Dr. Osuoza expressed deep faith and anticipation for the project’s official inauguration, saying, ”We give all glory to God Almighty for granting the wisdom, strength, and favour that brought this monumental vision to fruition.

“With anticipation, we look forward to the formal commissioning of this transformative project in the first quarter of next year,” he added.

The Commissioner concluded by reinforcing the significance of purposeful governance, asserting,”Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has once again demonstrated that leadership, when driven by sincerity and purpose, can change the story of communities and uplift generations.”

Also, Pastor Chuks Agidigbo stated that Governor Oborevwori came prepared for governance and is not discriminating in completing inherited projects and initiating new ones.

Pastor Agidigbo called on Deltans to encourage the Governor by providing the enabling environment for him to do more for Deltans.

“We are lucky to have a Governor who is prepared for governance, the completion of the Trans-Warri-Ode-Itsekiri road is a dream come true.

“It was like an impossible project but our Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori is now know for doing what seems impossible for the benefits of Deltans, let us continue to create the enabling environment for him to do more because he came prepared to offer MORE to Deltans and humanity,” Agidigbo said.
