CONDOLENCE MESSAGE
I received with deep sorrow the news of the passing of Distinguished Senator Peter Onyelukachukwu Nwaoboshi, a formidable politician, dogged fighter, and accomplished statesman whose contributions to Delta State politics and national legislative service remain indelible.
Senator Nwaoboshi served with distinction as two-term Chairman of the Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and was elected Senator representing the Delta North Senatorial District on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Courageous, outspoken, and steadfast, he was a man of deep conviction who never shied away from defending what he believed to be right in the interest of his people.
In what now appears as an act of rare wisdom and foresight, he made peace with all those with whom he had political differences before his passing, an enduring testament to his large heart, political maturity, and spiritual preparedness for the inevitable.
We mourn his passing with profound grief, yet we are consoled by the legacy of service, reconciliation, and courage he leaves behind. May the Almighty God forgive all of his transgressions and grant his soul eternal rest and peace in paradise. Amen.
My heartfelt condolences go to his family, the All Progressives Congress (APC) family, political associates across party lines, and the entire people of Delta North. May God grant all of us the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.✝️✝️
