BREAKING NEWS: PDP Announces New Caretaker Committee For South West

THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have announced a new caretaker committee for the South West zone.

According to a statement issued by the Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, the setting up of a new caretaker committee was as a result of the dissolution of the former one by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.

Mr Ologbondiyan in the statement issued on Thursday night and made available to newsden.com.ng, Mr Dayo Ogungbenro emerged as the Chairman of the newly constituted caretaker committee of the party while Mrs Daisy Aminniran will serve as Secretary.

In a statement on Thursday night by Kola Ologbondiyan, Publicity Secretary of the party, the newly-constituted committee has Mr Dayo Ogungbenro as its chairman while Mr Daisi Akinniran will serve as secretary.

The caretaker committee will be in charge of the party in the zone for a period of three months, the Publicity Secretary said.
