Eric Olu hails from Ika North East Local Government Area. He enrolled into the 2018/2019 cycle of the Delta State Government’s Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme (STEP) as a Brown STEPreneur.

Re-trained and established in Electrical Installation and Maintenance, he is now the CEO of Eric & Co General Electrical Works. Though he is an SSCE holder, Eric has carved a niche for himself as a goal getter. Barely four years in business, Eric has diversified into sales of electrical materials and farming. He shares his testimony.

“STEP made me self-employed. It provided me with working tools to begin business in electrical installation and maintenance. I have achieved a lot in the past four years through the programme.

“I now have a shop where I sell electrical materials. To crown it all, I have successfully handled electrical installation in some government projects in my community and environs. I have acquired more tools for my jobs.
