The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Delta State, Sir Festus Ahon, has extended warm felicitations to a veteran journalist and media strategist, Comrade Nkem Nwaeke, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, celebrated on June 27.
In a goodwill message, Sir Ahon described Nwaeke who is Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, as a loyal friend, seasoned media professional, and dependable ally of many years.
He noted that Nwaeke, prior to his current appointment, served meritoriously as Assistant General Manager with the Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS), Warri, where he distinguished himself through diligence, integrity, and professionalism.
Ahon said: “On behalf of my family, I extend heartfelt congratulations to my dear brother and friend, Comrade Nkem Nwaeke, on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
“I join your family, friends, and professional colleagues in celebrating a life marked by excellence, dedication, and influence. You have continued to demonstrate rare media expertise and a deep understanding of legislative reporting, attributes that have greatly enhanced the public image of the State House of Assembly since your appointment.”
Ahon, who referred to Nwaeke as a confidant and longtime associate, expressed delight at his continued success and relevance in the media and public affairs space.
“As your friend and close associate, I am proud of the strides you have made and how you have continued to bring honor to our profession through your role as the Assembly’s chief image-maker.
“As you mark this special milestone, I pray for God’s continued blessings upon your life. May He grant you many more fruitful and fulfilling years in service to humanity and to our beloved Delta State,” he added.
