Rev. Fr. Andrew Mozia of the Catholic Mass Center, Maris Schools, Okpanam, has said that humility is very important to every Christian.
Delivering a Homily at the celebration of Holy Mass on Sunday at the Catholic Mass Center, Maris Schools, Amachai, Okpanam in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, the Catholic Priest called on Christians to always pray for the gift of humility.

“You should be able to moderate your activities, be meek and learn from Jesus how to control yourselves, how to control your anger.
“Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth,’ says the Holy Bible and as such, we must be humble if we must be great in life.
“In all that you do, always know that you are created from dust and dust you will return. Be humble.
“When you come before the presence of God, everyone is equal; we are all equal in the eyes of God and when you are humble, you will go home blessed.
“A humble person will know that there is nothing that he can do without God.
“Humility is said to be the chain that holds every other virtue.
“Wisdom is not about intellect but the wisdom that comes from God, God directing you on how to relate with your fellow man so that you will be at peace with God, with your fellow man and with yourself.
“Pray for God’s guidance always because when you don’t have the understanding, you will be doing the wrong things.
“Don’t think that because you are meek, that you are a fool, no, you are exalted before God.
“Put God first, your neighbour before yourself; there is nothing that is greater than the reward that comes from God; God who sees in secret, will reward you in secret.
“May God bless us all through Christ our Lord. Amen.’
