Hon. Oke Idawene, the Chairman, Integrity Group of Delta (IGD) and former Delta State Chairman, Social Democratic Party (SDP), has said that IGD’s new vision and mission Statement is to support Delta State Governor, His Excellency, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme towards promotion of good governance and quality assurance leadership at all levels of governments; ensure that Delta state becomes the next Texas of Nigeria, also work to support rapid growth and development of the state as well as maintenance of peace and security in Delta State
IGD Boss, Hon. Oke Idawene made this remark while fielding questions from some group of Journalists on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the group’s official National Secretariat in Asaba, Delta State capital as he noted that the group will support the new administration led by the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme to give Deltans good governance.
Integrity Group of Delta State is a formidable socio-political pressure group established some years ago by political actors of like minds of different professional backgrounds with structures in the entire three Senatorial Districts, 25 LGAs of Delta State, entire polling units in Delta State with major core values such as integrity, undivided loyalty, consistency, steadfastness, fairness, Justice, peace, unity, prosperity, good governance, growth and development.
Hon. Oke Idawene stated that IGD is made of Deltans of like-minds that come together; in both home and abroad irrespective of party affiliations to ensure that henceforth only credible candidates emerge victorious at different elections to promote excellence in Nigerian, African political space. He added that, the group believes in the growth and development of the entire state through maintenance of good governance at levels to ensure that Delta State becomes the next Texas of Nigeria.
He told newsmen that, IGD is condemned to supporting Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Sir Monday Onyeme, that Integrity Group of Delta State will its new background as in vision, mission and dedication as now unfolded will continue to give maximum support to the Governor Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E agenda policy to all Deltans so as to optimally take Delta State to greater heights through quality assurance leadership.
He then congratulated the new Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme on their successful Inauguration recently. He also commended the Governor for the new appointees he has appointed so far, currently in his government.
Idawene also used the medium to congratulate Governor Oborevwori’s Chief Press Secretary, CPS, Comrade Festus Ahon, the new Secretary To The State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu, The Governor’s Chief of Staff, Hon. Johnson Erijoh, The Governor’s Senior Political Adviser, Sen. Emmanuel Agwarauvwodo, Governor’s Personal Secretary, Barr. Mrs Lya Ocholo on their well-deserved political appointment as he tasked them on fulfilment of M.O.R.E agenda to all Deltans.
