A cross section of murners who spoke on condition of anonymity described the late Emeka Nwaedozie as a gallant vigilante that sacrificed his life for the protection of the people from the rampaging herders and kidnappers in the area.

They, however, called on the security agencies in the state to expedite action in fishing out the murderers of the chairman and one other member of their vigilante security outfit in order for them to face justice.

The respondents , whose sober mood and emotions beclouded their responses during an interview with journalists, berated the Fulani herdsmen for terrorising several parts of the state, adding that apart from destroying crops, they carried out other hideous crimes such as killing of their Innocent victims, kidnapping and most cases rape women and had made it difficult for many Farmers in different parts of the country to carry out their farming activities.

It could be recalled that the duo of Emeka Nwaedozie AKA Chosen and Festus Monyei , also known as Face, were killed on their way to free a kidnapped woman in the community who was later freed few days after they had been armedbushed and murdered by the suspected kidnappers/Fulani herdsmen.
