Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on Friday, attended the Funeral Service of late Mrs Cordelia Eduesi Megbele at the Foursquare Gospel Church, Warri, Delta State.
The Governor was represented at the Funeral Service by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA at the Funeral Service of Megbele, mother-in-law of Mr Alfred Temile.
Members of the Delta State Executive Council and prominent personalities, including men of God, attended the service.
Delivering a message at the well attended service, Rev. Tesi Uwejamomere, District Overseer of Foursquare Gospel Church, Ubeji, said that the glory of man comes after death.
Rev. Uwejamomere in his message titled; “An Accomplished Life,” which was taken from Matthew 5:13, noted that, “our journey on earth is to have positive impact on ourselves and others and not to punish people.”
According to him, “an accomplished life is a life that aligned with God’s will, focusing on serving others and making the most of time; it is life that align with God’s will and the life that align with the world.
“While many people live their life the way that pleases them, we, as children of God should live our lives according to the ways of God.
“Any man that does not live his life well to the will of God, faces hell when he dies.
“We are here on this earth to touch lives, and not punish lives; our well-being should be as good as considering the well-being of others.
“We should live a life were good things will be remembered about us when we pass on to glory.
“What will people say about us when we die?
“God has given us opportunity to touch lives, we should live the life of accomplishment.
“Today, mama is being celebrated, my wife and I are part of the good testimonies about her; the testimonies about mama today shows that she touched several lives and today, she is in glory, she has gone to be with the Lord.’ Rev. Uwejamomere said.
