THE death has been announced of Ezinne Mrs Grace Ego Onyia, mother of Hon. Dcn. Anthony Onyia, Special Assistant, Political to the Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.
According to a statement signed by Hon. Onyia and Mrs Sheila Ndah, the remains of Ezinne Mrs Grace Ego Onyia would be interred on Friday, December 17, 2021 at her residence, No. 10 Memmali Onyia Street, Cable Point, Asaba after a funeral Mass at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, also at Cable Point, Asaba.
They stated that a Service of Songs would be held on Thursday 16, December, 2021 in honour of the deceased at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Cable Point while reception would be held after the internment on Friday, December 17 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church field.
A lot of dignitaries are expected to grace the occasion as Hon. Onyia renowned for operating the TonyLinks Club in the 1990s was also a Councillor in Oshimili South Local Government Council, a successful businessman, a politician who was the Secretary, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Oshimili South Local Government Area, a Pastor and presently, the <span;>Special Assistant, Political to Governor Okowa.
