The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, has advised married couples to engage in actions that will strengthen their marriages.
He made the call on Saturday at the traditional marriage ceremony between Miss Lillian Ossai and Mr Magnus Chime at Ibabu, Onicha-Ukwuani in Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State.
Former Miss Ossai is the younger sister of the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Protocol Matters, Chief Lucky Ossai, a.k.a Baff and Chop.
The Deputy Governor was accompanied to the marriage ceremony by retinue of political office holders that included Sir Christopher Osakwe, Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House, Hon. Azuka Azaka, former member representing Ndokwa West Constituency at the Delta State House of Assembly, among others.
While congratulating the couple, Sir Onyeme admonished them to shun anything that could cause division in their marriage and asked them to be prayerful.
