According to him, nobody should be afraid of death.

He said, “death is a call that everyone of us who is alive will obey.

“The greatest fear of every man is death but everything that has beginning must have an end, so, why must we be afraid of death? It is because we are so interested in ephemeral things and we do not prepare for death.

“How many parents prepare their children for death? Instead, parents prepare their children for glamorous things.

“The Holy Bible says, in every situation we must give thanks to God.

“Note that the physical body must die and the kind of life the physical body lives will determine where the soul will go.

“We should live our life well, we should live our life knowing that one day, we will give account of our life.

“We should live our lives like believers who believe so much in the Lord, Jesus Christ.

“What we acquire is not what makes us, what matters is how much we give, how much we care.

“No matter what we acquire in life, one day, we must give account of it.

“We must reflect and live a Holy life and with such, we will not be afraid of death.

‘We should touch people’s lives, we should impact positively on other people’s lives, that is the essence of living, we must believe in our Lord, Jesus Christ.”

Some of those who attended the Requiem Mass include the Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House, Sir Christopher Osakwe, former Chief Judge, Delta State, Justice Marshall Umukoro, among others.
