Wife of the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Lady Catherine Onyeme, has bagged Award of Excellence from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT).
Lady Onyeme who bagged a Bachelor of Science Degree in Quantity Surveying from the university and presently pursuing her Doctorate Degree in the university was personally presented with the award by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Aloysius Michael N. Okolie.
It was at the first International Conference of the Department of Quantity Surveying, ESUT.
The well attended conference had as theme: The Quantity Surveyor’s Edge.
Prof. Okolie at the occasion, expressed joy that products of the university are doing well in their chosen professions and described the award given to Lady Onyeme as, “well deserved.”
Responding, Lady Onyeme thanked the organisers of the programme for the recognition and pledged to continue to do her best in contributing to the growth of the society.
Hon. Chimobi Atu, member, House of Representatives, Enugu North and South Constituency, also bagged an award at the ceremony.
