The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, at the weekend, said that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is delivering clinically on his electoral promises.
Sir Onyeme who is on a brief holiday made the disclosure while fielding questions from members of Delta State Community in Atlanta, United States of America who organized a get-together in his honour.
He said that the Delta Government is committed to the provision of durable infrastructures and human capital development for all Deltans through the MORE Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration.
The Deputy Governor who was accompanied by his wife, Ezinne Catherine Onyeme, regaled the house with the current impressive construction of roads and bridges and efforts to bring electricity to Ndokwa nation.
Members of the community commended the Deputy Governor for his humility and transparent exchange of ideas.
Sir Onyeme was presented with a token gift by Chief Paul Okoku, a member of the Nigerian National Soccer team, the Super Eagles 1984 African Cup of Nations Silver winning squad.
Other members of the community present were Professor Juliet Elu of Morehouse College, Atlanta, Chief Collins Odinjor, and his wife Alero, Mr. Raymond Ekurhare, Chief Emeka Chimekwene, Mr Frederick Ogodo and his wife Henrietta, Attorney Ani and his wife Christabel, Mr. Valentine Egbune, Ms. Ndidi Ogwu, Dr. Gerald Dariah (MD) and Mr. Ejiro Ineneji.
Mr. Kingsley Dike and his wife, Tilda, organized the reception at their residence.
