The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, the immediate past Governor of the state, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, CON, on Saturday, visited Dr Hilary Ibegbulem, an astute politician over the death of his father, Pa Gilbert Ibegbulem.
Pa Ibegbulem, a retired educationist died at the age of 90.
Deputy Governor Onyeme and former Governor Okowa were personally received by Dr Ibegbulem at his residence in Ute-Okpu, Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State.
Some of those who were seen at the residence of Dr Ibegbulem include the Commissioner for Energy, Hon. Sunny Tatabuzogwu, Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House, Sir Christopher Osakwe, Chairmen of Ika North-East and Ika South Local Government Councils, Hon. Monday Odigwe and Hon. Jerry Ehiwarior respectively, Dr. Festus Okubor, Hon. Anthony Elekokuri, Mr Cyril Agbele, traditional rulers, among others.
After expressing condolences personally to Dr Ibegbulem, Deputy Governor Onyeme signed the condolence register where he wrote, “our dear Father, you live long, you lived well, and you left a lasting legacy.
“Rest on in the bossom of the Lord.”
