AS the public presentation of THE EXPERIENCE draws closer, it is now officially known that Hon Joshua Opia, a public affairs commentator, shall review the book.
Chief Christopher Oyemike, the Alternate Chairman for the Committee for the book launch who disclosed this while fielding questions from journalists in Asaba, Delta State, said that the choice of Hon. Opia as the book reviewer was advised by his passion for the work of God.
Oyemike said, “As we are aware, the God-fearing Governor of Delta State and a passionate worker, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, will be the Special Guest of Honour and former Governor of Imo State, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha as Chairman of the book presentation, which will hold at Unity Hall, Government House Asaba, on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
“Hon. Opia, who was at Enugu State University of Science and Technology, is competent and we are confident that he will do justice to the task of reviewing the book.
“A well travelled man, and an author, Opia is also committed to the growth of Christianity.”
He noted that the Ugoani of Okpanam Kingdom, HRM Dr. Michael Mbanefo Ogbolu who is a devout Catholic, will be the Father of the Day while the wife of the Anglican Bishop of Ndokwa Diocese, Mrs Joy Obiosa (Mama Ndokwa) would be the Mother of the Day.
Asked about who the book launcher(s) would be at the occasion, Oyemike said, “Although the date for the presentation is getting closer, and as it is the big one from the Big Heart, we will not keep the people waiting for so long; the Chief Launcher and launchers of the book will be unveiled soon.”
