SECRETARY to Delta State Government (SSG), Chief Patrick Ukah, has charged contractors handling projects in the state to ensure that projects are delivered in record time and according to specifications.
He gave the charge while inspecting the level of work done at the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Headquarters in Asaba.
The SSG who expressed satisfaction with the contracting firm, Tadeo Fedora Nigeria, for the job done so far which was at the decking stage, noted that the project commenced a month ago without mobilization.
Chief Ukah urged the contractor not to relent in his efforts to achieve desired results, adding that if the pace of work in the site is maintained, the project would be ready for inauguration by the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, by December this year.
The Project Architect of the firm, Mr. Mark Anthony, who conducted Chief Ukah round the project site, thanked the SSG for the inspection promising to do his best to achieve desired results.
Present during the inspection were the Commissioner for Housing, Chief Festus Ochonogor, Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Dame Nkem Okwuofu, among others.
