AIG Happy With Conduct Of Police Recruitment Exercise

ASSISTANT Inspector General (AIG) of Police in charge of Zone 13, Mr. Mohammed Danmallam has expressed satisfaction with the manner with which the screening exercise for the recruitment of men and women into the Nigeria Police Force is being organised.

Danmallam who spoke in Awka shortly after inspecting progress of the screening exercise at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women Development Center, said the idea of screening two local government areas daily was the best option as it provided for the observance of COVID-19 protocols.

Whle advising those who entered for the exercise to be at alert at all times, Danmallam assured that all the 3,000 candidates who made entries in Anambra must be screened, and urged the candidates to ensure that they are at the venue early enough.

About 70 candidates from Anambra East and West were screened on Monday, while candidates from Orumba North and South will be screened on Tuesday.

In a related development, the Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Mr John Abang paid an unscheduled visit to the Police Recruitment screening center at the Professor Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Center, Awka for on the spot assessment of the exercise.

According to a release signed by the Anambra state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Haruna, the screening exercise which commenced on Monday 24th August 2020 was adjudged to be hitch-free .
