Anyafulu To Discuss Maris’ Lecture At Asaba

The Maris Trust Council (MTC), is set to hold its Public Service Lecture titled “Selfless Service,  A Phenomenal Virtue” to be delivered by Rt. Hon.  Festus Ovie Agas, Chief of Staff, Government House, Asaba,  Delta State.

The lecture will be delivered on Wednesday, 13 April,  2022 at 12 noon at the Unity Hall,  Government House,  Asaba.

The event will be attended by scholars, government officials, politicians, lawyers, civil society organisations, journalists, civil servants, security practitioners, diplomats, and the general public.

Secretary of Council, Comrade Fidelis Egugbo,  stated that the Trust Council led by a private sector operator Chief Kenneth Olise, FCA, Ph.D, have expressed joy that the Delta State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Community Support Services,  Mrs Bridget Anyafulu, will be a discussant at the lecture.

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta will be Special Guest of Honour,  Ambassador Godson Echegile, OFR, will Chairman the occasion and Dr. Mrs.  Cecilia Ibru,  OFR, MFR, will be Mother of the Day.

Hon. Eta Enahoro, Very Rev. Fr.  Chris Ekabo and Hon. Shimite Bello will be discussing the lecture with Mrs Bridget Anyafulu while Dr. Kemi Emina will be the Moderator.

The lecture which holds every Wednesday before Easter Sunday is used to proffer solutions to the challenges of the society and set agenda for the people.
