The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on Saturday described his Chief Adviser, Chief Ighoyota Amori, as an asset who has recorded a lot of political successes.
The Governor made the remark at Chief Amori’s 74th birthday celebration in Asaba.
Represented by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, Ph.D., Governor Oborevwori poured accolades on Chief Amori, praying for his continued good health and long life.
”Today is a very great day; your political antecedents and political journey are worth studying, and your political sagacity is wonderful; happy birthday, Chief Ighoyota Amori, and we wish you good health and long life,” Rt. Hon. Oborevwori said.
Chief Amori thanked Governor Oborevwori for celebrating with him, noting, “the Deputy Governor is here in a dual capacity, representing our result-oriented Governor, and here as my friend.
”Your Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, Ph.D., I must say that you deserve the Deputy Governorship position; your humility and the positive energy that comes from you are infectious.”
Highpoint of the celebration was the presentation of birthday card by Governor Oborevwori and cutting of the birthday cake by Chief Amori assisted by family and political associates.
