REV. Fr.  Hilary Ibegbulem has admonished Christians to do the work of God without fear.

Delivering a Homily on Sunday morning at the Catholic Church of the Ascension,  Asaba,  Delta State, the Priest noted that most Christians were fond of saying, “by the grace of God” without knowing the import of what they were saying.

According to him, the grace of God makes Christians to carry out activities that ordinarily, would have been seen as impossible.

Fr. Ibegbulem said, “The power of God’s grace is too much and we should stop taking the things of God for granted.

“We say, ‘by the grace of God’ without believing in what we are saying.

“When we say, ‘by the grace of God,’ we should not have any iota of doubt in whatever we are doing.

“He said, ‘my grace is enough for you,’ let us believe, because the words came from God.

“When working for God, don’t give up for His grace is sufficient for you.

“Grace is a free gift; it is help from God that will make you do what ordinarily,  you cannot do.

“The grace of God is the ability that God gave us to go through difficulties and come out from them stronger.

“He said, ‘my grace is enough for you,’ we should be confident and also, be aware that there are some difficulties that God allows us to go through.”

The Holy Mass also featured special thanksgiving by parishioners.
