The Monday Onyeme Foundation (MOF) has finalised arrangements for the annual Cheque Presentation Ceremony, honouring all successful beneficiaries of its 2026 Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme.
A statement signed by Mr Leo Ubuane confirmed that the event is scheduled to take place this Sunday at Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba, commencing at 10:00 am.
Founded by Sir Monday Onyeme, Ph.D, Deputy Governor of Delta State, the Foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to driving educational advancement, alleviating financial burdens, and empowering youth across Delta State with a particular focus on the Delta North Senatorial District.
The 2026 edition of the scheme will see hundreds of exceptionally qualified full-time undergraduate students from tertiary institutions across the country receive direct financial grants to support their academic pursuits.
Special awards and enhanced financial packages will be presented to top-performing candidates who distinguished themselves during the Foundation’s rigorous and competitive selection process.
Mr Ubuane added that this initiative reinforces Sir Monday Onyeme’s vision of ensuring that financial constraints never stifle the educational potential of deserving students.
Sir Onyeme, alongside distinguished public figures, community leaders, and advocates of education, is expected to attend the ceremony as the Monday Onyeme Foundation remains dedicated to transforming lives, nurturing human capacity, and fostering sustainable community development through the power of education.
