PDP Ward-To-Ward Campaign: Oborevwori, Nwoko, Nwokolo Promise More Projects

THE Ward-to-Ward Campaign by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Delta North Senatorial District entered day two in Ika South on Tuesday, with candidates of the party in the 2023 general elections promising more projects for the people.

The Governorship Candidate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, who spoke through his running mate, Chief (Sir) Monday Onyeme, congratulated the people of the area for recognising that the PDP-led Government in the State has done so much for them.

He assured that with Governor Ifeanyi Okowa emerging as Vice-President, the people should expect more.

Oborevwori said, “what we are witnessing in Ika South is wonderful; when you show appreciation, you get more and we want you to translate this appreciation into 100 percent votes for the candidates of the PDP in the 2023 general elections.

“Your votes should be for all the candidates of the party for you to get more patronage in the area of provision of infrastructure, empowerment, and political appointments, among others.”

Also, the Senatorial Candidate of the party, Prince Ned Nwoko, assured that as a Senator, he would work closely with Vice-President Ifeanyi Okowa to empower one million youths who will become employers of labour.

He said, “as your Senator, I will work out programmes that will empower one million youths who will become employers of labour, so, vote for candidates of the PDP. ”

Others who spoke at the rally include, the member representing Ika Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Victor Nwokolo who pledged to do more for the people when re-elected.

Chairman, PDP, Delta North Senatorial District, Elder Moses Iduh, stated that the people of Ika were lucky and thankful to God for providing a Governor who will move on to be the Vice-President of the country on the platform of the PDP.

Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ochor Christopher Ochor, Chief Godwill Obielum, Hon. Pascal Adigwe, were among those who were at the rallies that took place at Ward 6 (Agbornta), Ward 7 (Orogodo), Ward 8 (Igumbor), and Ward 9 (Open Field).
