SOKOTO State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has forwarded two nominees to the state House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
A statement issued to newsmen in Sokoto on Monday by the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to Tambuwal, Malam Muhammad Bello, gave the names of the nominees as Mainasara Ahmad and Abubakar Maikudi.
He said, “Their nomination followed the demise of the state Commissioner for Land and Housing, late Surajo Gatawa and political mobility of the Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Rep. Balarabe Kakale.”
