Daniel Obiebi hails from Okpe Local Government Area. He is one of the pioneer beneficiaries of the Delta State Government’s Youth Entrepreneurs Programme (YAGEP.) He was trained and established in the 20215/2016 cycle in Poultry. He is still in business. He is the CEO of Obiebi Poultry Farm located in Aghalokpe. He shares his story.
“I currently have 700 layer birds and 250 broilers. I expanded my poultry pens in order to increase my stock. I also brood turkeys for sale. I harvest a minimum of 23 crates of eggs daily. I have diversified to crop production. I cultivate cassava and plantain.
The returns are good. From the proceeds, I care for my family and meet my needs. I acquired a 100 X 100 plot of land; I am already molding blocks for my building. I bought a motor-cycle to help my business.
“I have two employees and have trained four persons. YAGEP is sustainable and is the business I know.”
