“Our Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori is doing well in the execution of projects in the education sector but he cannot do it alone, that is why we are happy that the Federal Government through UBEC executed this projects.

“I thank my brothers, Dr Jerry Agbaike and Engr. Gabriel Agbaike for keeping the legacy of our father, Chief George Agbaike, who was a renowned educationist in the then Bendel State.

“I thank them specially for remembering our home town, Emede and I urge our people to attract more projects to Emede.

“No doubt, these class room blocks, one block of two classrooms at Eweri Primary School and one block of two classrooms at Urie Primary School, it is worthy to state they are tastefully furnished and electrically powered by solar.

“We hope that UBEC will bring more of these projects to our people, it is on this note that I, on behalf of my brothers, Dr Jerry Agbaike and Engr. Gabriel Agbaike hand over these projects to UBEC,” Mr Johnson Agbaike said.

Receiving the blocks of the classrooms, Engr. Nelson Oyaigbevwen, thanked the Agbaikes for facilitating the projects, noting that they were executed according to specifications.

He urged the schools, especially, the Emede Community to ensure that the projects are protected and put into proper use.

He informed the Headmistress of the schools, Mrs Edafe Muno and Mrs Ukeghe that UBEC officials would visit the schools to check if the facilities are well maintained.

President General, Emede Community, Mr Reuben Udogbo at the occasion, thanked the Agbaikes for facilitating the projects to Emede asserting, “this first of its kind, we are grateful to the Agbaikes, we thank Federal Government and UBEC.”
