The wife of Anambra State Governor, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, has sent food supplies to a woman severely assaulted by her husband in Amaokpala Community.
The delivery, carried out by Commissioner for Health Dr. Afam Obidike, is intended to assist the victim and her children.
The mother of two, who is married to a man from Ajango Village, Amaokpala, was recently captured at night in a viral amateur footage lying helplessly in a pool of blood along the bush path after it was alleged that her husband had mauled her in a terrible way over a family misunderstanding.
Already, the governor’s wife has taken care of the hospital bills for her full treatments, offered her a job in Orumba North Local Government Council, as a way to help the young family take care of long-term basic family needs.
Mrs Soludo has also vowed to ensure that the alleged culprit faces full justice to re-emphasize her tough stance against domestic violence and abuses.
