HOS Felicitates Maxwell Awuse As He Disengages From Service

The Head of Service, Dr. (Mrs.) Mininim Oseji, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Head of Service, Mr. Maxwell Awuse on his retirement from the Civil Service of Delta State.

The Head of Service extended the congratulatory message to the PS when he paid a courtesy visit to her office to announce his disengagement from the Civil Service of the State.

Underscoring the Permanent Secretary’s dedication to duty, humility and respect, the Head of Service commended him for contributing his quota to the repositioning of the Civil Service as well as the 100 percent achievement of the 20 activities rolled out to support the M.O.R.E. Agenda of Governor Oborevwori’s administration.

Speaking earlier, the Permanent, Secretary, Office of the Head of Service, Mr. Maxwell Awuse, who thanked God for granting him all his heart desires, also thanked the Governor of Delta State Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and the Head of Service for giving him the opportunity to serve in the State Civil Service.

He gave a brief history of his career in the Civil Service to include his appointment as Personnel Officer II in 1997, worked in various Ministries, such as Information, Health, Oil and Gas, Office of the Deputy Governor and Office of the Head of Service.

Advising civil servants to be upright, hardworking, dedicated, and diligent in their duties, Mr. Maxwell Awuse emphasized that his guiding principle had been hard work, humility, and obedience.

He further stated that his vision in service was to rise to the pinnacle of his career as a Permanent Secretary.

In their separate goodwill messages, the Permanent Secretary Civil Service Commission, Mr Fred Yoro, a retired Permanent Secretary, Chief Ben Okonta, and the Chairman of the Administrative Officers Forum, Mr Itobore Imokiniovo, described Mr Maxwell as a man who understands Public Policy, Administrative Management and committed to excellence in Public Administration.

Speaking of him as a generous, kind and caring person, they thanked God that Mr Awuse was retiring in good health, sound body and mind.
