Maris Trust Council, MTC, organisers of the Maris Annual Public Service Lecture series, has condoled with Chief Ken Olise, Ph.D, following the demise of his elder sister, Mrs Rebecca Chukwuma.
Chief Olise is the Chairman, MTC.
In a condolence message signed by the Secretary, MTC, Comrade Fidelis Egugbo, Chief Olise was asked to “take solace in the Biblical book of Job 1:21 ‘The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.’
“There is no doubt that the passage of your elder sister at the age of 66 years is a great loss to you and your family, but be consoled with the fact that she lived a wonderful life and impacted greatly on people’s lives.
”From the tributes by those who knew her personally, she was seen as a bright and visionary personality.
“Her passage is a great loss and we at Maris Trust Council, pray to God that you and the family members find the strength to overcome this great loss.
”May her soul rest in peace. Amen.”
The remains of the deceased would be interred tomorrow, Saturday, August 26 at Utagba-Unor, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State.
