The Delta State Post Primary Education Board (PPEB) has clarified that no evidence of ICT training for computer proficiency is required for the 2025 promotion interview for teachers in the state.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Asaba, the Executive Chairman of the Board, Professor Emmanuel U. Tibi said that the Board had since July 23, 2025 withdrawn its circular sent out in error earlier, through a second circular on the same day, which had stipulated that candidates should show evidence of having acquired or obtained the forms for check-off of the tablets as provided by TrendAfrique Solutions Ltd.
The statement advised candidates for the 2025 promotion exercise to present only their original certificates as well as lesson notes during the promotion interview, as directed by the Board.
According to the statement, the Board deeply regrets the inconveniences caused by the mix-up and confusion in the earlier directive.
