A Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Hilary Ibegbulam, has urged Christians to seek wisdom to enable them do the right things.
The Priest made the call on Sunday in a Homily that he delivered at the Catholic Church of the Ascension, Asaba.
He said, “we should always pray for wisdom to choose correctly.
“Divine wisdom is what everyone need to have in life.
“This is because, there are a lot of choices and wisdom is required to make the right choices, the right decisions
“When we make the right choices, we are good for it but if we make the wrong decisions, we have regrets as companion.
“Pray for wisdom, nothing compares to wisdom.
‘The Psalmist, says, teach us to number our days, so that we will gain wisdom of heart.
“We should know how short life is and have wisdom because, what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul.
“We should not be so attached to our wealth, we should not be thinking about ourselves alone, we should not be stingy, we should be charitable, do good and seek God’s wisdom.
“Our riches can become our obstacles to the kingdom of God, our riches, our wealth should not be our gods, we should not be worshipping wealth.
“Let us pray to God to give us wisdom for us to make the right choices.”
The Holy Mass featured Thanksgiving by Parishioners.
