Leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta North Senatorial District, will tomorrow, 7th of August, 2026, hold a strategic meeting aimed at consolidating it’s dominance in the district.
The meeting will be held at Marquee Event Centre, by Jefferson, Beside WAEC Office, WAEC Road, Asaba, begins at 10am.
In a statement signed by Engr Dan Ossai, Delta North APC Chairman, the party hinted that Sir Monday Onyeme, Ph D., Deputy Governor of Delta State; Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, the immediate past Governor of the state; Barr Felix Morka, National Publicity Secretary of APC; serving and former members of the national and state assemblies, serving and former commissioners, serving and former council chairmen, federal and state appointees, and members of the executive of the party at federal, state and local levels are among the stakeholders expected at the meeting.
Aside party leaders from Delta North, members of the State Working Committee of the party led by Chief Solomon Areyinka, will also be in attendance.
The meeting which is the first since the congresses and primaries of the party will be a platform to evaluate the activities of the party as well as strategize on how to sustain the dominance of the party in the district. It may also provide an opportunity to unveil the candidates of the party for the 2027 elections.
