HARSH ECONOMIC POLICY: What Mr President Must Do
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on WhatsappSend to Email

Due to the prevailing hardship from the persistent high cost of living and the consistent reduction in the real value of household earnings, the federal government must put in place a scheme to ameliorate the standards of living in Nigeria permanently.

1) The scheme will be supported with the immediate provision of automatic jobs to all qualified Nigerians; and

2) These jobs will cut across all fields (skilled, unskilled, semi-skilled), and eligibility is not tied to any required experience.

This scheme from the presidency should be due to the persistent call by well-meaning nigerians, elites, elder statesmen and women who have been collaborating and brainstorming behind closed doors to finding a long-term solution to our present circumstances.

Nigerians will therefore, take full advantage and opportunity of the federal government new scheme and initiative.

NEWLY CREATED BOARD
In order to avoid situations where politicians and their cronies will hijack the scheme for personal gains, the federal government should create a new board for the sole purpose of supervision and implementation.

MR. PRESIDENT AS CHAIRMAN OF BOARD
The new board should be chaired by Mr. president himself. The president must direct the Chief of Staff that all processes must include a smooth and seamless job application and confirmation procedure.

The Chief of Staff on the powers of Mr. President must, therefore, direct the Head of the Federal Civil Service Commission to commence with immediate effect the procedures for job applications and confirmations procedure.

JOB SPREAD/LOCATIONS
The jobs should be allocated to the 774 LGs, which in turn shall equitably spread it across all wards, units, households, and individuals in Nigeria.

BENEFITS
The benefits of the scheme shall be but not limited to:

1) Immediate improvement in household earnings;

2) immediate improvement in household savings;

3) immediate improvement in household spending;

4) immediate improvement in social activities;

5) immediate boom in economic activities;

6) immediate uplift in general standards of living;

7) immediate decline japa rate; and

8) Etc

On the above, the federal government should direct that to be full beneficiaries of this scheme,

1) All Nigerians are to ask THEIR SHADOWS to henceforth stop following them everywhere they go doing nothing. Nigeria is presently too harsh for THESE SHADOWS to keep lazing around jobless;

2) All Nigerians are advised to INSTRUCT THEIR SHADOWS to take full advantage of these scheme and opportunities to be gainfully employed; and

3) The scheme will be most profitable to any individual whose SHADOW is more active and ready to take up multiple jobs on shift conditions.

Thank you for reading through, and may God help Nigeria.
